P.S. Don't wait up.
INSPIRED by FRIENDSHIP
Weeks ago, I got a call from one of my dear friends. She was feeling uninspired, even frustrated, with herself and with her photography. So we decided that we needed an INTERVENTION.
We ALL go through bouts of self doubt. Sometimes I don't feel like the best mother that I know I need to be, or the best friend I want to be to my husband and my dear friends. Sometimes we run out of direction in our careers. Inspiration is so personal and so internal that technically you can't just "be" inspired, because you "want" inspiration. The wonderful part is we can change anything we don't like about our current situation in 0.01 seconds. I have found that what inspires me photographically inspires me personally and visa versa. I have no magic pill and I have no perfect solution, but I do know what inspires me. LEARNING. TALENT. LOVE. LOYALTY. FRIENDSHIP. PASSION. SERVICE. It's different for each of us, but as you do your best to allign you life with the things that bring you happiness, you will feel inspiration because you are being true to yourself, and what you were ment to do.
A few of my girls from around the Nation got together for a quick get a way to Park City, Utah. It wasn't all about photography, but it was ALL inspiring for me. We laughed, learned and cried...or maybe I was the only one who cried. We talked about being better mothers, wives, friends, and photographers. Thank you for allowing me to share my life with you. L.O.V.E. you SWITS!
